The suggested multi-purpose object is situated on the southern periphery of the Chalupkova-zone, nearby the Landererova/Košická crossing. Between 1944 and 1945, this area has been destroyed during the bomb raid targeting the nearby Apollo-refinery.
The shaping of that house was motivated by the customer's requirement to create rational, but at the same time interesting architecture. The irregular ground plan of the lot and the clear stipulations of the zoning plan constituted the basis for the creation of that compact organic structural substance. The lengthwise stretched 170 metres facade of the house gets dynamised by the helically ascending parking ramp. The facade consists of a curved cladding made of horizontal curtain-segments made of sheet-metal, which copy the curvy concrete floors. At places requiring more light for the interior - those segments are even perforated. The office part features even a glass-facade behind that segmented cladding. When passing by that object, this organic spatial structure creates the impression of an „ever emerging“ further space.
The object comprises a multi-storey car park and offices, which are situated in the west-part. The ground floor under the multi-storey car park offers the necessary civil infrastructure of services and shops. Gallery premises have been provided under the office part.
