The Polus City Center is the largest and best visited shopping- and office centre in Bratislava – comprising rental area 65 000 m2, 45 000 m2 of office premises and 1 600 parking places. The shopping centre has two floors, and the parking areas are situated in the shopping centre's underground area and on its roof. The office premises are located in the two high-buildings, simultaneously constituting dominants of Bratislava's city district Nové Mesto. A part of the shopping centre is also a multi-cinema with 14 screens and the Carrefour hypermarket with a total selling space of 8 500 m2. The shopping centre's supporting structure consists of a ferro-concrete framework with 15 x 15 m basic module. The architectonic elaboration of the object was very positively accepted both by the experts and by wide public.
