Within preparation of a most significant investments in Slovakia by French PSA company, in cooperation with Hutný projekt, a.s. we have realised several important building objects of the production site:
The pressing plant of the PSA car factory is the entry unit for the following parts of the production process. In this plant, galvanised steel sheet is stored and cut into the shapes of future car body parts, and then pressed on three lines. Finished pressed products are carried to the welding plant, where car body parts and entire car bodies are produced and then carried by trolley conveyer via connecting bridge to the paint shop. Both interior and exterior rendering of the areas corresponds to their function; the inside architecture includes the manufacturing technologies. For external perception, division of frontages into horizontal strips is important, with entrances into the object highlighted by vertical coloured panels and glazing.
Beside the plant management, the office building shelters the computer centre, presentation and conference rooms, and health care centre for the staff. Together with the staff canteen building, the building constitutes a pronounced forefield of the entire plant, highlighted by common steel marquise over the main pedestrian entrances to the site.
