Reconstruction of historical Town Hall in Modra was the winning project within a competition. This is an example of communal investment with the intention to integrate public interest (Town Hall, exhibition rooms, art school, museum) with business activities (restaurant, salon of local wines). Architectural solution consisted in upheaval of original listed buildings of the complex into the status of their most valuable development stage, while all added components will be clearly admitted new formations from contemporary materials. The most pronounced changes include reconstruction of the western wing of the Town Hall complex to glazed multi-function hall opening to the interior courtyard. The design also included the second stage of the reconstruction covering the Town Hall, art school and salon of local wines. Within this stage, representation rooms are intended to be built under the entire courtyard, as well as a worthy first contact office, restaurant, larger air-conditioned conference, wedding and congress rooms, as well as worthy rooms for the of the Modra Town Museum.
