The adaptation of this object consists not only of the reconstruction of the existing apartment house, but also of the roof superstructure including two floors of the subterranean garages with green roof. By its internal equipment, the designed office building creates new rental office premises of European standard. The total utility area has increased from 900 to 1 800 m2. The architectonic expression of the superstructure endeavours to evocate externally by its shapes the modified function of that object and its operational and technical standard. The resulting solution emphasises the architectonic value of the original street facade.
